Unlock the Healing Power of PRP at Beaute’ Medical Aesthetics

At Beaute’ Medical Aesthetics, we specialize in advanced Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for both aesthetic and medical applications.

PRP uses the body’s own concentrated growth factors to promote natural healing, cellular regeneration, and collagen stimulation — with

no synthetic fillers or foreign materials.

Tight styles, protective styles, chemical treatments, and inflammation can all weaken the delicate edges along the hairline. Over time, many women notice

  • Thinning edges or broken hair around the temples

  • Receding hairline from braids, wigs, ponytails, or weaves

  • Itchy, inflamed, or sensitive scalp in certain areas

Our approach uses Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for hair support in carefully selected women and always starts with a comprehensive Hair Analysis so we can understand what’s driving your hair loss—not just cover it up. In our practice, Wharton’s Jelly may be used in combination with PRP, PRP Gel, and PRF, or as a bloodless alternative for clients who are not clinically suitable candidates for traditional PRP.

PRP Services Offered at Beaute’ Medical Aesthetics:

PRP Hair Restoration

experiencing hair thinning, traction alopecia, postpartum shedding, or hormonal-related hair loss. Stimulates dormant follicles and promotes fuller, healthier hair growth.

PRP for Edges (Women)

Targeted treatment for receding or thinning hairlines, often caused by tension, protective styling, or chemical damage. Helps strengthen follicles and restore volume at the hairline.

O-Shot (Orgasm Shot)

stress incontinence. A popular option for women experiencing changes due to aging,

childbirth, or hormonal shifts.

P-Shot (Priapus Shot)

PRP is injected into the penile shaft to improve blood flow, firmness, sensation, and

overall sexual function. Often used by men seeking natural enhancement without

medication.

What Areas Can Aveli Treat?

Cellulite most commonly appears in the following areas — and Aveli is designed to treat them all:

Hemoglobin level of 10 or higher (lab testing is available onsite or through your provider)

Not currently pregnant or breastfeeding

No active infection or blood disorders

Not on anticoagulants or recent use of steroids or NSAIDs (must be stopped 5–7

days prior)

Inner Thighs – Smooths and tightens skin for improved tone

Comfort & Pain Control

Your comfort is our priority. At Beaute’ Medical Aesthetics, we use a combination of:

Topical Lidocaine (numbing cream)

Injectable Lidocaine (local anesthesia)

Laughing Gas (Nitrous Oxide) for relaxation during the procedure

This ensures the treatment is tolerable, safe, and stress-free.

What Is PRP for Women’s Edges?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is prepared from your own blood:

  • A small blood sample is drawn from your arm.

  • It’s spun in a medical-grade centrifuge to concentrate your platelets.

  • The platelet-rich layer is injected into targeted scalp areas.

Platelets contain growth factors that participate in normal tissue repair and hair-follicle signaling. In hair medicine, PRP is used off-label as an elective procedure to support hair density and scalp health, especially in early or moderate thinning.

For edges, we often focus PRP injections along:

  • The frontal hairline and temples

  • Areas of breakage from ponytails, braids, wigs, or weaves

  • Small patches affected by traction or inflammation

Why Women’s Edges Thin – Traction, Inflammation & Infections

Thinning edges in women are often multi-factor:

Traction Alopecia (Styling-Related)

Repeated tension from:

Tight braids or sew-ins

High ponytails, buns, and puffs

Glue, clips, or wig bands on the hairline

can damage hair follicles over time. Early traction alopecia may be improved with behavior change + medical support, but longstanding scarring is much harder to reverse.

Inflammatory & Infectious Causes

Edges can also be affected by:

Scalp inflammation (seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, folliculitis)

Central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA) and other scarring processes

Fungal or bacterial infections

When inflammation is active, it must be identified and treated; otherwise, hair follicles can be permanently damaged. This is why we never skip Hair Analysis and scalp evaluation.

Hair Analysis – The First Step in Your Edge-Recovery Plan

Before any PRP plan, we perform a Hair Analysis to look for root causes and safety concerns. Depending on your case, this may include:

Scalp & Hairline Examination

Pattern of thinning vs breakage

Signs of redness, scaling, pustules, or scarring

Trichoscopy / Dermoscopy (when indicated)

Close-up imaging of follicles and scalp

Distinguishes miniaturization, scarring, and active inflammation

History & Lifestyle Review

Styling practices (braids, wigs, relaxers, color, heat)

Hormones, stress, nutrition, and systemic illnesses

Optional Labs / Referrals

Thyroid, iron, vitamin D, hormones, or autoimmune markers when appropriate

Referral to dermatology for suspected scarring alopecia or complex cases

PRP is only recommended if your Hair Analysis suggests that follicles are still present and there is a reasonable chance of response.

How PRP for Edges Is Performed

We review your history, scalp exam, and any prior treatments (oils, topicals, injections, oral meds). We’ll also talk honestly about:

Step 1 – Consultation & Hair Analysis

Whether your hair loss looks reversible, partly reversible, or mostly scarring

How likely PRP is to help your specific case

Whether we should treat inflammation first or change styling habits

Step 2 – PRP Preparation

We draw a small amount of blood from your arm.

The blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate platelet-rich plasma.

In some cases, we may also use PRP Gel or PRF as part of your protocol, depending on your plan.

Step 3 – Targeted Scalp Injections

The edge area is cleansed; a numbing method is used (topical or local).

PRP is injected in a grid pattern along the thinning hairline and affected patches

The injection portion usually takes minutes once you are number

Short Recovery & Step 4 – Ongoing Plan & Follow-Up

We typically recommend a series of sessions, spaced weeks apart, when appropriate.

We typically recommend a series of sessions, spaced weeks apart, when appropriate.

Progress is monitored with photos and repeat Hair Analysis as needed.

What Women Hope to See with PRP for Edges

Every scalp is different. While no outcome is guaranteed, women often pursue PRP for edges to:

  • Support thicker-looking hair along the hairline

  • Reduce visible thinning or see-through areas at the temples

  • Improve the feel and fullness of new growth

  • Complement other treatments (topicals, oral meds, devices) recommended by their provider

We are very transparent that:

  • Advanced scarring alopecia and long-standing traction loss may not respond well.

  • Results, if they occur, are usually gradual and require consistent follow-up and healthy hair practices.

Who Is Not an Ideal Candidate?

You may not be a good candidate for PRP to the edges if:

There is extensive scarring and shiny, smooth scalp with no visible follicles

You have untreated scalp infections or active inflammatory diseas

You are unwilling to modify damaging styling practices (tight styles, glue, heavy tension)

You have certain blood disorders, are on strong blood thinners, or have other contraindications to PRP

You are expecting a guaranteed “full restoration” regardless of hair status

In these cases, we may prioritize:

Medical management of inflammation

Wigs or protective styling with minimal tension

Discussion of hair replacement systems or surgical options with appropriate specialists

Frequently Asked Questions – PRP for Women’s Edges

Regenerative & Combination

Treatments Available

Q1. How many PRP sessions will I need?

Most women with early traction alopecia or thinning edges are counseled to expect a series of treatments over several months, followed by maintenance only if initial response is seen. The exact number depends on your Hair Analysis, severity, and response.

Q2. Will PRP regrow my edges completely?

PRP can support existing follicles; it cannot recreate follicles that are completely destroyed.

If Hair Analysis shows advanced scarring, we will be honest about limited expectations and may not recommend PRP at all.

Q3. Is PRP safe for melanin-rich scalps?

PRP comes from your own blood, so allergic reactions are rare. However, injections still carry risks (pain, swelling, infection, pigment change at sites). We pay special attention to

post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) risk in melanin-rich clients and adjust our

technique accordingly

Q4. Do I have to stop braids, wigs, and ponytails?

We don’t force a particular hairstyle, but ongoing tight tension will continue to damage

follicles. We strongly recommend lower-tension styles, careful wig placement, and avoiding glue on the hairline if you want the best chance to protect new growth.

Q5. What’s the difference between PRP and your Hair Analysis alone?

Hair Analysis is the diagnostic and planning step—it tells us what’s going on and what’s

realistic. PRP is one treatment option we may add if the analysis suggests you’re a good

candidate. Not everyone who has Hair Analysis will be recommended for PRP.

Ready to Talk About Your Edges?

If you’re noticing thinning along your edges from traction alopecia, inflammation, or infections, we invite you to start with a Hair Analysis + Consultation. From there, we’ll decide together whether PRP, PRP Gel/PRF, topicals, lifestyle changes, or referrals make the most sense for your scalp.
